Solar radiation sensor (RH) (present)

POSSIBLE CAUSE

•  Light amount shone on the solar radiation sensor is insufficient (Circuit is normal)

•  Solar radiation sensor malfunction

•  Open or short circuit between solar radiation sensor and front climate control unit

POSSIBLE CAUSE	• Light amount shone on the solar radiation sensor is insufficient (Circuit is normal) • Solar radiation sensor malfunction • Open or short circuit between solar radiation sensor and front climate control unit

Diagnostic Procedure

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	• Inspect solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR INSPECTION.) • Is it okay?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Replace solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
2	• Disconnect climate control unit connector (16-pin) and solar radiation sensor connector. • Is there continuity between following terminals of front climate control unit connector (16-pin) and terminal solar radiation sensor connector? ― 2O—B ― 2B—A	Yes	Repair wiring harness.
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	• Is there short circuit to ground between terminal 2O of front climate control unit connector (16-pin) and terminal B of solar radiation sensor connector?	Yes	Repair wiring harness.
3		No	Inspect the connection of the front climate control unit connector.
