SPEAKER CONNECTION INSPECTION [WITH Bose®]

With Standard Audio

1.  Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position.

2.  With the audio power on, press the POWER button and simultaneously press the AUTO-M button for approx. 1 s.

3.  Verify that each speaker outputs sound in the following order.

1	Front door speaker (LH)
2	Front speaker (LH)
3	Center speaker
4	Front door speaker (RH)
5	Front speaker (RH)
6	Rear door speaker (RH)
7	Rear speaker (RH)
8	Bass-box
9	Rear speaker (LH)
10	Rear door speaker (LH)

Note

•  If the sound is not output normally, inspect the following parts:

―  Malfunctioning speaker

―  Wiring harness between audio unit and malfunctioning speaker

4.  Turn the audio off or the ignition switch to the LOCK position to stop the diagnostic assist function.

With Touch Panel Type Audio

1.  Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position.

2.  While pressing the POWER button, simultaneously press the DISP button for 2 s or more.

3.  Input diagnosis code “03” and select the “ENTER”.

4.  Verify that each speaker outputs sound in the following order.

1	Front door speaker (LH)
2	Front speaker (LH)
3	Center speaker
4	Front door speaker (RH)
5	Front speaker (RH)
6	Rear door speaker (RH)
7	Rear speaker (RH)
8	Bass-box
9	Rear speaker (LH)
10	Rear door speaker (LH)

Note

•  If the sound is not output normally, inspect the following parts:

―  Malfunctioning speaker

―  Wiring harness between audio unit and malfunctioning speaker

5.  Turn the audio off or the ignition switch to the LOCK position to end the connection inspection.

With Car-navigation Unit

1.  Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position.

2.  While pressing the POWER/VOLUME button, simultaneously press the TUNE/AUDIO button for 1 s or more.

3.  Press the “Diagnostic assist code input switch”, and input the diagnostic assist code “03”.

4.  Select “ENTER”.

5.  Verify that each speaker outputs sound in the following order.

1	Front door speaker (LH)
2	Front speaker (LH)
3	Center speaker
4	Front door speaker (RH)
5	Front speaker (RH)
6	Rear door speaker (RH)
7	Rear speaker (RH)
8	Bass-box
9	Rear speaker (LH)
10	Rear door speaker (LH)

Note

•  If the sound is not output normally, inspect the following parts:

―  Malfunctioning speaker

―  Wiring harness between car-navigation unit and malfunctioning speaker

6.  Press the POWER/VOLUME button to return to the diagnostic assist code input screen.

7.  Press the POWER/VOLUME button to release the diagnostic assist function.
