CENTER PILLAR REMOVAL [PANEL REPLACEMENT]

1.  Rough cut area (A), drill the 89 locations indicated by (B), then remove the center pillar (outer).

Note

•  Chisel is inserted because the laser welding is given as for the arrow part of the figure below and the welding is separated.

•  The damage of the remaining parts is noted, center pillar (outer) is moved in the direction of the arrow of the figure below, and the insulator is separated.

2.  Rough cut area (C), drill the 4 locations indicated by (D).

Caution

•  Avoid cutting with a blow torch or similar tools as the insulator (shaded area) is flammable.

3.  Remove the center pillar inner reinforcement.

4.  Rough cut area (E), drill the 2 locations indicated by (F).

5.  Drill the 2 locations indicated by (G) from the interior.

6.  Remove the center pillar inner reinforcement.
