DTC INSPECTION [HEADLIGHT AUTO LEVELING SYSTEM]

1.  Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

Caution

•  Perform the procedure in Steps 2 to 3 within 30 s.

2.  Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Note

•  The DTCs are output after about 10 s from when the ignition switch is turned to the ON position.

3.  Connect terminals B (INIT) and J (GND) of the DLC-2 using a jumper wire.

Caution

•  If the terminals are mistakenly connected, vehicle damage or fire could occur. When connecting with the jumper wire, thoroughly verify what terminals are being connected to prevent a miss-connection.

4.  Read the DTCs by the flashing pattern of the headlight auto leveling warning light.

5.  After verifying the DTCs. pull out the jumper wire from DLC-2.
