POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) FRONT SWITCH INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the power liftgate (PLG) front switch. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) FRONT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the cluster switch. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Apply battery positive voltage to PLG front switch terminal E, and connect terminal A to ground.

5.  Verify that the LED illuminates.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the cluster switch.
