THEFT-DETERRENT SIREN DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the theft-deterrent siren. (See THEFT-DETERRENT SIREN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the short wiring harness.

4.  Remove the nuts.

5.  Remove the bracket.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Theft-Deterrent Siren Assembly Note.)

Theft-Deterrent Siren Assembly Note

1.  Install the theft-deterrent siren bolt ends into the bracket grooves and temporarily install the nuts with the theft-deterrent siren pressed into the bracket.

2.  Adjust the theft-deterrent siren angle as shown in the figure.

3.  Verify that the gap between A and B shown in the figure is 3 mm or more, and then tighten the nut.
