LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the liftgate side trim. (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure, and pull the screwdriver in the direction of the arrow to detach clips A.

5.  Detach tabs B and remove the liftgate recess.

6.  Disconnect the PLG sub switch connector. (Vehicles with PLG)

7.  Remove the fasteners.

8.  Detach clips A, tabs B, and pins C by pulling them in the direction of the arrow.

9.  Disconnect the cargo compartment light connector.

10.  Remove the liftgate lower trim.

11.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
