FRONT MAP LIGHT INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the intruder sensor. (with intruder sensor) (See INTRUDER SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the front map light. (See FRONT MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Verify that the continuity between the front map light terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the front map light.

5.  Apply battery positive voltage to front map light terminal C, and connect terminal F to ground.

6.  Switch the interior light switch to the DOOR position and verify that the front map light illuminates.

•  If the light does not illuminate, replace the map light.
