PARKING SENSOR SWITCH/INDICATOR INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Dashboard under cover (Driver side) (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Bonnet release lever (See BONNET LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Parking sensor switch/indicator (See PARKING SENSOR SWITCH/INDICATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the parking sensor switch/indicator.

4.  Apply battery voltage to connect terminal H, and connect terminal J to ground.

5.  Verify that the LED illuminates.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the parking sensor switch/indicator.

6.  Apply battery voltage to parking sensor switch terminal B, and connect terminal D to ground.

7.  Verify that the LED illuminates.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the parking sensor switch/indicator.
