Caution
•  When the trailer switch (dealer option) is switched ON (operational), the parking sensor buzzer does not sound. If the volume of the parking sensor buzzer is adjusted, perform the adjustment after the trailer switch (dealer option) is switched off (non-operational).

1.  Remove the trunk box. (See TRUNK BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

3.  Switch the parking sensor switch ON (indicator on) (with parking sensor switch).

4.  Shift the shift lever to the R position.

5.  Using a jumper wire, connect parking sensor control module short-cord connector terminals A and B as shown in the figure to launch the beep sound adjustment mode.

Caution
•  If the terminals are mistakenly shorted, vehicle damage or fire could occur. When shorting terminals using the jumper wire, thoroughly verify what terminals are being connected to prevent a miss-connection.

6.  Verify that the parking sensor buzzer sounds one time.

Note

7.  Using a jumper wire, connect parking sensor control module short-cord connector terminals A and B for approx. 0.5 s to switch the volume.

Note
•  The volume of the parking sensor buzzer can be switched between 7 levels.
•  The parking sensor buzzer sounds one time at the switched volume.
