Purpose
• The blind spot monitoring (BSM) system can be turned on or off optionally by the driver.
Function
• The switch operation signal is sent to the instrument cluster.
Construction
• The BSM OFF switch is built into the cluster switch.
• A push-return (moment) type switch has been adopted.
• The resistance is built into each switch.
Operation
1. When the BSM OFF switch operates, the switch operation signal is sent to the BSM control module (LH).
2. The BSM control module (LH) switches the BSM system on/off when it receives the BSM OFF switch operation signal from the BSM OFF switch.
Fail-safe
• Function not equipped.
