BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front scuff plate inner (LH). (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Remove the front side trim (LH). (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Remove the dashboard under cover (Driver side). (L.H.D.) (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5. Set the bonnet release lever out of the way. (L.H.D.) (See BONNET LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
6. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Dashboard Wiring Harness C Removal Note
1. As shown in the figure, lift the tab in the direction of the arrow (1) using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, and while keeping it lifted, pull it in the direction of the arrow (2) to remove.

BCM Removal Note
1. Raise the lower part of the BCM in the direction shown by the arrow and remove the pin with the BCM level.
