SIDE SILL PANEL REMOVAL [PANEL REPLACEMENT]

1.  Rough cut area (A), drill the 129 locations indicated by (B), and then remove the side sill (outer).

Note

•  Chisel is inserted because the laser welding is given as for the arrow part of the figure below and the welding is separated.

2.  Rough cut area (C).

Caution

•  During rough cutting, be careful not to damage the hinge reinforcement and the center pillar reinforcement (inner) indicated by dotted lines in the figure.

3.  Drill the 3 locations indicated by (D) from the interior.

4.  Remove the side sill reinforcement.
