Handling of refrigerant

•  If refrigerant gas comes into contact with open flames or high-temperature parts such as cigarettes or heaters, gases that are harmful to health may be generated. Do not allow refrigerant to leak in places with open flames or high-temperature parts. In addition, when performing servicing involving refrigerant leakage, turn off such heat sources or keep them away, and ensure adequate ventilation.
•  If the liquid refrigerant touches your skin, it may cause frostbite. Always wear gloves and safety glasses when handling refrigerant. Also, should refrigerant get into your eyes, immediately rinse with clean water and consult a doctor.

Refrigerant storage

•  Since the refrigerant container is at a high pressure, if it is exposed to high heat, it may explode, and metal pieces and liquid refrigerant may be scattered, resulting in serious injury. Store the refrigerant at a temperature of 40°C {104 °F} or less.
