Operation

Up/down adjustment (Example: power outer mirror is operated downward)

1.  The rib operates (1) according to the motor operation.

2.  The outer mirror glass operates (2) in the downward direction according to the rib operation.

3.  When the outer mirror glass operates in the down direction, the resistance inside the up/down adjustment sensor increases.

Left/right adjustment (Example: power outer mirror is operated in right direction)

1.  The rib operates (1) according to the motor operation.

2.  The outer mirror glass operates (2) in the right direction according to the rib operation.

3.  When the right side outer mirror glass operates in the right direction, the resistance inside the left/right adjustment sensor decreases.

When the left side outer mirror glass operates in the right direction, the resistance inside the left/right adjustment sensor increases.
