1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the keyless receiver with the connector still connected. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Connect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

4.  Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (See Terminal Voltage Table (Reference)).

•  If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (See Terminal Voltage Table (Reference)), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
―  If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
