HOOD LATCH SWITCH INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Disconnect the hood latch switch connector. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

Note

•  Inspect the continuity when the hood is open.

•  If the operation as indicated in the table cannot be verified, replace the hood latch. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
