1. If the rear spoiler is to be reused, perform the following procedure:

(1) If the packing is damaged, remove the bolts as a single unit with the packing.

(2) Clean and degrease the packing adhesive area.

(3) Install new bolts as a single unit with the packing.

Note

• The new bolts are fitted with a pre-installed packing.

(4) If the protector is damaged, replace the damaged part with a new one.

2. Attach the grommet of the high-mount brake light wiring harness to the liftgate panel.

3. Align the bolts with the rear spoiler installation holes.

4. Press the rear spoiler in the order shown in the figure to install it.

5. Install the nuts outward from the center of the rear spoiler.

6. Install the caps.

7. Connect the connector and attach the hook.

8. Install the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

9. Install the side spoiler. (See SIDE SPOILER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
