Front Emblem

Front center brand emblem

•  When replacing the front center brand emblem, refer to [RADIATOR GRILLE DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY]. (See RADIATOR GRILLE DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY.)

Rear Emblem

1.  Clean and degrease the liftgate emblem adhesion area.

2.  Use a heat gun to warm the emblem to 15 °C {59 °F} and 40 °C {104 °F}.

3.  Insert the emblem pins into the emblem installation holes on the rear finisher, and affix them.

4.  Hold the emblem (LH) with a force of 49 N {5.0 kgf, 11 lbf} or more so that the distance between the emblem and the adhesive surface is 0.4 mm {0.02 in} or less, and crimp it to the liftgate.

5.  Hold the emblem (RH) with a force of 49 N {5.0 kgf, 11 lbf} or more so that the distance between the emblem and the adhesive surface is 1.1 mm {0.043 in} or less, and crimp it to the liftgate.

Rear center brand emblem

•  When replacing the rear center brand emblem, refer to [REAR FINISHER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION]. (See REAR FINISHER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

100YEARS Emblem

1.  Remove any grease or dirt from the emblem installation surface of the front fender.

2.  Warm the double-sided adhesive tape on the underside of the emblem to between 15 °C {59 °F} and 40 °C {104 °F} using a heat gun.

3.  Install the emblem to the position shown in the figure.

4.  Press the emblem with a force of 29.4 N {3.00 kgf, 6.61 lbf} or more.
