LIGHT SWITCH INSPECTION [(E)]

Light Switch Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the light switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)


Turn Switch Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the light switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)


Fog Light Switch Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the light switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)


High Beam Control Switch Inspection (With High Beam Control (HBC) System)

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the light switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)


Adaptive LED Headlights Switch Inspection (With Adaptive LED Headlights)

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the light switch terminals is as indicated in the table.
