•  The running light system can be switched between operable and inoperable (initial setting is [On]). For details on the personalization features, refer to the [PERSONALIZATION FEATURES] in the workshop manual.

Operation


Operation conditions

•  When all of the following operation conditions are met, the body control module (BCM) activates the running light system.
―  Vehicle speed: 3 km/h {2 mph} or more (vehicle speed signal)
―  Main power switched ON (READY on) (main power condition signal)
―  Parking brake: Released (parking brake switch signal)
―  Selector lever position: Except P position (selector lever position signal)
―  Light switch position: OFF, AUTO (auto light system not operated), or TNS (parking lights) (light switch position signal)


Operation

1.  When all of the following operation conditions are met (1), the body control module (BCM) transmits (2) running light on request signal to light control module.

2.  When the light control module receives the running light on request signal, the light control module turns the running light on (3).
