Purpose
• The high voltage battery charge gauge/high voltage battery charge display notifies the driver of the high voltage battery level.
Functions
• The instrument cluster displays the high voltage battery level based on the high voltage battery charge signal sent from the BCM via CAN communication.
Structure/Construction
• An analog needle display high voltage battery charge gauge with a stepping motor mechanism has been adopted.
• The high voltage battery charge display is displayed in the multi-information display of the instrument cluster.
Operation
1. When the instrument cluster receives (1) a high voltage battery charge signal from the BCM via CAN communication with the main power ON (READY on or off), it displays (2) the current high voltage battery level.
