HORN INSPECTION

Horn Low

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the horn low. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Apply lead-acid battery positive voltage to horn low terminal 1A, and connect terminal 2A to ground, and then verify that the horn low sounds.

•  If the horn low does not sound, replace the horn low. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Horn High

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the horn high. (See HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Apply lead-acid battery positive voltage to horn high terminal 1A, and connect terminal 2A to ground, and then verify that the horn high sounds.
