Purpose
• The drive information display displays the average electrical power consumption rate and instantaneous electrical power consumption rate.
Functions
Average electrical power consumption rate calculation function

• The instrument cluster calculates the average electrical power consumption rate based on the electrical power consumption signal and traveled distance signal sent from the BCM via CAN communication. In addition, the calculation results are updated every 30 s.
• If the INFO button of the steering switch is pressed for 1.5 s or more while the average electrical power consumption rate is displayed, the average electrical power consumption rate data is reset.
• If the average electrical power consumption rate data is reset, the tripmeter is also reset.
Instantaneous electrical power consumption rate function

• The instrument cluster calculates the instantaneous electrical power consumption rate based on the electrical power consumption signal and traveled distance signal sent from the BCM via CAN communication.
• Indicates the 0 position when the vehicle speed is approx. 5 km/h {3 mph} or slower.
Structure/Construction
• The drive information is displayed in the multi-information display of the instrument cluster.
Operation
1. The instrument cluster displays (2) the average electrical power consumption rate and instantaneous electrical power consumption rate in the multi-information display when it receives (1) the following signals with the main power is switched ON (READY on or off).
