i-ACTIVSENSE OFF SWITCH

Purpose
• The i-ACTIVSENSE OFF switch can temporarily stop the operation of multiple systems simultaneously.
Function
• If the i-ACTIVSENSE OFF switch is pressed, the i-ACTIVSENSE status symbol (warning/risk avoidance support system) turns off and the i-ACTIVSENSE OFF symbol (warning/risk avoidance support system) turns on.
• If the i-ACTIVSENSE OFF switch is short-pressed, the following systems stop operating.

― Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
― Blind spot monitoring (BSM)
― Distance & speed alert (DSA)
― Front cross traffic alert (FCTA)
― Rear cross traffic alert (RCTA)
― Lane-keep assist system (LAS)

• If the i-ACTIVSENSE OFF switch is pressed again, it returns to the original operation condition, the i-ACTIVSENSE OFF status symbol (warning/risk avoidance support system) turns off, and the i-ACTIVSENSE symbol (warning/risk avoidance support system) turns ON.
Construction
• i-ACTIVSENSE OFF switch is built into the cluster switch.
Operation
• When the i-ACTIVSENSE OFF switch is operated (1), the cluster switch sends (2) an i-ACTIVSENSE OFF switch operation signal to the instrument cluster via LIN communication.
• When the instrument cluster receives the i-ACTIVSENSE OFF switch operation signal, it sends (3) the signal to the body control module (BCM) via CAN communication.
• When the BCM receives the i-ACTIVSENSE OFF switch operation signal, it switches the i-ACTIVSENSE-related systems on/off.
