1. When the main power is switched ON (READY off or on), the BCM sends the power switch position status and the specification information of the vehicle to the audio amplifier via CAN communication.
2. When the audio amplifier receives information about the power switch position status and vehicle specification information, it selects the equalizer built into the audio amplifier and sets (2) the frequency output from the speakers.
3. The audio amplifier receives (3) the following signals from the PCM and BCM.
PCM
-
― Motor status signal
― Selector lever position
BCM
-
― Driver's door latch switch on signal
― Rear door latch switch on signal
4. The audio amplifier analyzes the engine load conditions, calculates the range of insufficient motor sound, and produces (4) a electronic sound signal based on the signal received from the PCM and BCM.
5. The audio amplifier sends (5) the played electronic sound signal to the speaker.
6. The speakers output (6) the electronic sound based on the supplemental signal received from the audio amplifier.
