Outline

System malfunction location	CAN communication: communication error with PCM
Detection condition	•  The PCM detects that any of the following modules stores the DTC U0100:00. ―  BECM ―  Drive motor control module ―  DC-DC converter ―  Battery charge control module ―  Electronically controlled brake unit ―  Selector lever ―  Parking lock actuator ―  Charge port-electrical supply unit
Fail-safe	•  Refer to "DTC Table" and "Fail-safe Function Malfunction Contents Table". (See DTC TABLE [PCM (e-SKYACTIV)].)
Possible cause	•  DTCs are stored in any of the following modules. Note •  If any of the following modules stores a DTC, the PCM stores the same DTC or similar. •  If the PCM stores a DTC even though the following modules do not store a DTC, clear the DTC as it was for a past malfunction, and then complete the repair. ―  BECM ―  Drive motor control module ―  DC-DC converter ―  Battery charge control module ―  Electronically controlled brake unit ―  Selector lever ―  Parking lock actuator ―  Charge port-electrical supply unit
