Malfunction symptom	Description
Vehicle cannot accelerate from standstill, poor acceleration, insufficient power	•  The vehicle cannot accelerate/reverse from a standstill even if the accelerator pedal is depressed with the selector lever in the D or R position. ―  Driving force is not generated and the vehicle cannot accelerate from a standstill. ―  Driving force is generated but the vehicle cannot accelerate from a standstill. •  Poor acceleration, insufficient power ―  Acceleration performance and constant speed according to the acceleration pedal operation are not possible.
Regenerative braking is not possible	•  During deceleration, the high voltage battery level indication does not increase. •  During deceleration, the power meter does not move to the CHARGE side (However, except for immediately after charging is completed or when high voltage battery is at low temperature). •  The amount of increase in the high voltage battery level indication varies even if the vehicle speed is decreased by the same power. •  Variation in deceleration when releasing the accelerator pedal.
Deceleration G is unstable	•  Deceleration G changes during 1 deceleration. •  When releasing the accelerator pedal under the same conditions, there is a variation in deceleration G. •  When operating the brake pedal under the same depression force, there is a variation in deceleration G.
Poor power consumption rate	•  Power consumption rate is poor compared to the customer’s expectations or the previous power consumption.
Main power cannot switch OFF	•  While the main power is switched ON (READY on), the main power cannot switch OFF even if the power switch is operated. •  The power switch POWER indicator light turns on even when the main power is switched OFF. •  The instrument cluster indication does not disappear even when the main power is switched OFF.
EV system does not start	•  The EV system does not start even though the power switch is operated. •  The power switch POWER indicator light does not turn on even when the main power is switched ON. •  READY is not displayed in the instrument cluster after the EV system starts.
High voltage battery does not cool	•  It takes a long time to fully charge with quick charge. •  Frequency of poor acceleration or insufficient power is high.
High voltage battery does not warm up	•  It takes a long time to fully charge with charge. •  Frequency of poor acceleration or insufficient power is high.
Cruising range is short	•  The cruising range has become shorter than previous. •  The remaining distance-to-full discharge displayed in the instrument cluster fluctuates considerably while the vehicle is being driven.
Discharged lead-acid battery	—
Electromagnetic sound heard	•  While the vehicle is driven, sometimes the electromagnetic sound from the electric motor and inverter is louder than normal.
Normal charging does not start	•  Charging is not possible even if the normal charge connector is connected to the charge port. •  A charging equipment breaker is tripped and normal charging cannot be started. •  The charge indicator does not flash (green) even if normal charging is started after the charging timer or remote charging is canceled.
Charging timer or remote charging does not start	•  Charging does not start/finish at the time set on the charging timer. •  Charging does not start/finish even if remote charging is performed using the Connected Service.
Normal charging does not finish	•  The charge indicator flashes in green even though the high voltage battery level indication in the instrument cluster indicates full charge. •  Charging does not finish at the time set on the charging timer.
Quick charging does not start	•  Charging is not possible even if the quick charge connector is connected to the charge port.
Quick charging does not finish	•  The charge indicator flashes in green even though the high voltage battery level indication in the instrument cluster indicates full charge.
High voltage battery does not fully charge	•  The high voltage battery does not fully charge with normal charge. •  The high voltage battery does not fully charge with quick charge. •  After charging has completed (charge indicator illuminates in green), the high voltage battery power indication in the instrument cluster does not indicate fully charged status.
Charge lid does not open	•  The charge lid lock does not unlock even if the door lock is released. •  The charge lid cannot be opened even if the charge lid lock is released using the transmitter.
Charge port illumination does not turn on	•  The charge port illumination does not turn on when the charge lid is opened.
Charge connector does not lock	•  When the normal charge connector is connected, the charge connector is not locked.
Charge connector does not unlock	•   The charge connector remains locked and cannot be disconnected after normal charge has completed.
Charge connector cannot be inserted	•  The normal charge connector cannot be connected to the port. •  The quick charge connector cannot be connected to the port.
Charge indicator does not illuminate/flash	•  The charge indicator (green) does not flash during charging. •  The charge indicator (green) does not illuminate after charging has completed. •  The charge indicator (white) does not illuminate/flash before charging starts.
