•  The cooling fan rotates and stops according to the vehicle conditions to adjust the airflow blowing against the radiator and condenser, achieving improved vehicle reliability and climate control system performance.

•  The cooling fan component consists of the cooling fan, cooling fan motor, and fan control module.

•  The cooling fan motor has adopted a DC brushless motor.

•  Because there are no brush contacts, the motor size and weight achieve weight reduction. In addition, because there are no contacts with the rotor, part durability has been improved and noise has been reduced.

•  The cooling fan motor is driven based on the fan control signal which is received by the fan control module from the PCM as the PWM signal. For the control details, refer to [COOLING FAN CONTROL]. (See COOLING FAN CONTROL.)

•  The fan control module drives the cooling fan motor by the PWM control based on the fan control signal received from the PCM.
