CHARGE LID LOCK ACTUATOR

Purpose

• Performs lock/unlock switching of the charge lid electrically based on the signal from the charge port-electrical supply unit.

Functions

Lock function

• The charge lid lock actuator operates the built-in motor in the lock direction to lock the charge lid.

Unlock function

• The charge lid lock actuator operates the built-in motor in the unlock direction to unlock the charge lid.

Construction

• The charge lid lock actuator has a built-in motor, and the link installed to the motor moves in the lock/unlock direction in conjunction with the motor rotation.

• The rod located inner is moved by moving the link installed to the motor and locked the lifter pin.

Operation

Lock operation

1. The motor in the charge lid actuator rotates in the lock direction in conjunction with the door lock.

2. The helical gear in the charge lid actuator rotates to the lock side.

3. The rod locks the lifter pin.

Unlock operation

1. The motor in the charge lid actuator rotates in the unlock direction in conjunction with the door unlock.

2. The helical gear in the charge lid actuator rotates to the unlock side.

3. The rod unlocks the lifter pin.
