Purpose
• The charge connector lock actuator locks the charge connector during charging.
• Locking the charge cable prevents the connector from being disconnected due to vibration or foul play during charging.

• The connector lock operates if the user has set the connector lock on the center display.
Function
Lock/unlock function

• The charge connector lock actuator locks and unlocks the connector by operating the built-in motor in the lock/unlock direction.
• By the user setting the following modes, they can be used according to the situation.

― Locking when inserted

• Locks the charge connector as soon as the charge connector is inserted into the vehicle.
• The charge connector is unlocked 1 min after the door is unlocked.

― Locking only during charging
-
• The charge connector is locked only during charging.
• The charge connector is unlocked 1 min after the charging is finished or the door is unlocked.

― No locking
-
• The charge connector is not locked.
• The lock pattern of the charge connector can be set using the center display personalization feature.

Charge connector lock actuator manual release function

• If the charge connector lock actuator cannot be unlocked due to an electrical-related malfunction or sticking, the lock pin can be released using the following procedure.
1. Remove the rear mudguard (RH).
2. Insert a hand from inside the tire housing and pull the manual release lever for the charge connector lock actuator in the release direction shown in the figure.
3. Remove the charge connector with the manual release lever of the charge connector lock actuator pulled.
Construction
• The lock pin engages the lock point of the charge cable to secure the charge cable housing.
Operation
• The charge port-electrical supply unit outputs the charge connector lock actuator drive signal, and the lock pin operates in the lock/unlock direction by driving the actuator motor.
