CAN communication: communication error to selector lever

Detection condition

•  Communication error between the PCM and selector lever continues for 5 s or more.

Fail-safe

•  The vehicle may be stopped depending on the malfunction conditions. (Switches to N position before stopping vehicle)

Possible cause

•  CAN communication line malfunction between PCM and selector lever

•  Selector lever malfunction

•  PCM malfunction
