Purpose/Function
• Detects the ECT as basic information for mainly determining the fuel injection amount.
• Detects the ECT and sends it to the PCM as an ECT signal.
Construction
• The ECT sensor is located near the engine coolant control valve and the water pump.
Operation
• Sends the signal, which fluctuates according to the ECT, to the PCM.
