Note
•  The i-stop OFF switch is integrated with the cluster switch No.1.
•  For the i-stop OFF switch removal/installation, refer to CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the DTC inspection for the instrument cluster. (See DTC INSPECTION.)

•  If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)].)
•  If DTCs are not detected, go to the next step.

3.  Display the PCM PID [I-STOP_OFF_SW]. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION.)(See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G)].)

4.  While operating the i-stop OFF switch, verify that the [I-STOP_OFF_SW] changes as shown in the following.

•  If not within the specification, replace the cluster switch No.1. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
•  If it can be verified, the i-stop OFF switch is normal therefore the inspection is completed.
