Oil pump shift valve stuck

Detection condition
•  Under the following conditions, oil pressure switch No.1 OFF output continues for 10 s:
―  During i-stop operation
―  Selector lever position is D or N position.
―  During electric AT oil pump operation
―  Oil pressure switch, low clutch and transaxle range sensor are normal.
―  Rate of speed change normal
Fail-safe
•  Inhibits i-stop control.
Possible cause
•  Oil pump shift valve (hydraulic passage switching valve in control valve body) stuck
•  ATF leakage from low clutch circuit
•  Air infiltration

VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION OR SERVICE INFORMATION AVAILABILITY
•  Verify related Service Bulletins, on-line repair information, or Service Information availability.
•  Is any related information available?
Yes
Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available information.
•  If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING PART IS OIL PUMP SHIFT VALVE
•  Clear the DTC using the M-MDS.
•  Perform the following procedure:
1.  Display the following PIDs using the M-MDS.
•  CLTCH_OIL_PRES_SW1
2.  Select [Activated] for the TCM simulation item E_OIL_PUMP and operate the electric AT oil pump for 30 s.
3.  Select [Not Activated] from the TCM simulation item E_OIL_PUMP and stop the electric AT oil pump.
•  Does the monitor display of the TCM PID CLTCH_OIL_PRES_SW1 (hydraulic pressure switch No.1) switch on/off in conjunction with the electric oil pump operation?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the control valve body.

VERIFY THAT THE TIME LAG HAS NOT INCREASED
•  Perform the “Time Lag Test”.
•  Is the time lag longer than 3 s when N to D is selected?
Yes
Replace the automatic transaxle.
No
Go to the next step.

BLEED AIR FROM ELECTRIC AT OIL PUMP HYDRAULIC PASSAGE
•  Bleed the air form the electric AT oil pump hydraulic passage using the following procedure.
1.  Display the following PIDs using the M-MDS.
•  CLTCH_OIL_PRES_SW1
•  E_OIL_PUMP
•  PUMP_SPD
2.  Select [Activated] for the TCM simulation item E_OIL_PUMP and operate the electric AT oil pump for3 min.
3.  Verify that the monitor display of the TCM PID CLTCH_OIL_PRES_SW1 is switched on during electric AT oil pump operation.
4.  After3 min, select [Not Activated] from the TCM simulation item E_OIL_PUMP to finish air bleeding.
•  Operate i-stop.
•  Perform the DTC inspection using the M-MDS.
•  Are any DTCs present?
Yes
Replace the electric AT oil pump.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
