•  Vehicle rolls when on a downward slope in P position.

•  Vehicle does not move in D and R position when accelerator pedal is depressed, and engine remains in stalled condition.

•  Does the vehicle move when pushed under the following conditions?

―  Vehicle is stopped on flat road

―  Switch the ignition off

―  Other than P position

―  Parking brake is released

Yes

Symptom troubleshooting is completed.

No

Replace the parking mechanism.
