REFRIGERANT PRESSURE CHECK

1.  Connect the manifold gauge. (See MANIFOLD GAUGE SET CONNECTION.)

2.  Start the engine.

3.  Prepare the vehicle as follows.

―  Vehicle is not exposed to solar radiation

―  Engine speed: 1,500 rpm

―  A/C switch: ON

―  Air intake port: REC

―  Airflow mode: VENT

―  Airflow temperature: MAX COLD

―  Airflow volume: MAX HI

―  Hood: Open

―  All the doors and the trunk/liftgate: Close

―  All the windows: Close

―  Active air shutter (with active air shutter): Open

4.  Wait for 8 min after the engine is started.

5.  Record the pressure indicated on the manifold gauge and ambient temperature for 2 min.

6.  Verify that there are high/low pressure value readings within the shaded areas of the figure.
