Purpose

•  The climate control unit displays the operation and setting status of the air conditioner system settings.

Function

•  The climate control unit outputs the input signals from each sensor and the operation signal from the operation panel to the dash-electrical supply unit.
•  The climate control unit displays the following on the display panel.
―  Airflow temperature setting (driver/passenger-side)
―  Airflow mode setting
―  Air intake setting
―  Auto control
―  Airflow volume setting
―  Heated steering wheel setting (With heated steering wheel system)
―  Seat warmer setting (With seat warmer)

SYNC mode (driver/passenger-side temperature setting interlocking control)

•  While in SYNC mode, the passenger-side temperature setting is linked to the driver-side temperature setting.
•  When the climate control unit SYNC icon is pressed or the temperature control (passenger-side) is operated while in SYNC mode, the mode switches to DUAL mode.


DUAL mode (driver/passenger-side temperature setting independent control)

•  While in DUAL mode, the driver and passenger-side temperature settings can be performed independently by operating the temperature setting (LH)/(RH). In addition, the temperature setting display on the display/operation panel is displayed independently according to each setting temperature for the driver and passenger-side.
•  When the climate control unit SYNC icon is pressed while in DUAL mode, the mode switches to SYNC mode.


Construction

•  A logic-type climate control unit has been adopted.
•  The climate control unit consists of a control panel, display panel, and a control unit.
•  The switches and icons shown in the figure are positioned on the climate control unit.

―  Seat warmer or heated steering wheel setting
―  Display screen brightness/operation sound volume setting
