Communication error with Electric Power Steering (EPS) control module

Detection condition

•  The body control module (BCM) cannot receive CAN signal from the Electric Power Steering (EPS) control module for 5 s or more.

Fail-safe

•  Sets to default signal.

Possible cause

•  Malfunction in CAN communication line between Electric Power Steering (EPS) control module and body control module (BCM)
