POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  To prevent scratches or damage, apply protective tape to the positions shown in the figure.

3.  Using a remover tool, detach tab A from the front door trim.

4.  Using a remover tool, detach tab B from the front door trim.

5.  Using a remover tool, detach tab C from the front door trim.

6.  Move the power window subswitch component in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the guides.

7.  Remove the power window subswitch component from the front door trim.

8.  Disconnect the connector.

9.  Using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, move the hook of the power window subswitch cover in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and remove the tab while moving the power window subswitch in the direction of arrow (2).

10.  Remove all tabs in the same way as step 9.

11.  Remove the power window subswitch from the power window subswitch cover.

12.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
