VANITY MIRROR ILLUMINATION INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the vanity mirror illumination. (See VANITY MIRROR ILLUMINATION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Apply battery positive voltage to vanity mirror illumination terminal A, and connect the ground to terminal C.

4.  Verify that the vanity mirror illumination turns on.

•  If the vanity mirror illumination does not turn on, replace the vanity mirror illumination. (See VANITY MIRROR ILLUMINATION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the sunvisor. (See SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Verify that the continuity between the vanity mirror illumination switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the sunvisor. (See SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
