REAR WASHER NOZZLE ADJUSTMENT

Caution

•  If the nozzle angle is adjusted with excessive force by inserting a needle or similar thin tool into the rear washer nozzle, it could damage the nozzle internally. Do not apply strong force and carefully adjust the rear washer nozzle.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the side spoiler. (See SIDE SPOILER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the rear spoiler. (See REAR SPOILER REMOVAL.) (See REAR SPOILER INSTALLATION.)

5.  Insert a needle or a thin tool into the rear washer nozzle hole, and adjust the rear washer nozzle so that washer fluid is sprayed within the range shown in the figure.
