Removal Procedure

1.  Drill the spot welds in the 5 locations in area A shown in the figure from the engine compartment.

2.  Drill the spot welds in the 8 locations in area B shown in the figure from the engine compartment.

Note

•  When drilling the spot welds in the 8 locations in area B shown in the figure, do not drill through-holes in consideration of the workability when installing.

3.  Drill the spot welds in the 5 locations in area C shown in the figure from the front wheel housing.

4.  Drill the spot welds in the 6 locations in area D shown in the figure from the front wheel housing.

Note

•  When drilling the spot welds in the 6 locations in area D shown in the figure, do not drill through-holes in consideration of the workability when installing.

5.  Remove the front side frame from the front frame (rear).
