Installation Procedure

1.  When installing new parts, measure and adjust the body as necessary to conform with standard dimensions.

2.  Drill holes for the plug welding before installing the new parts.

3.  After temporarily installing new parts, make sure the related parts fit properly.

4.  Apply the body sealer to the position shown in the figure.

5.  Spot welds in area A (16 locations(without sunroof), 8 locations (with sunroof)) shown in the figure from the underside of the roof panel and install the roof reinforcement No.1 (without sunroof), roof reinforcement No.2, roof reinforcement No.3 and roof reinforcement No.4 (without sunroof).

6.  Apply the body sealer to the position shown in the figure.

7.  Plug welds in the 60 locations in area B shown in the figure.

8.  Spot welds in the 39 locations in area C shown in the figure.

9.  Plug welds in the 12 locations in area D shown in the figure and install the roof panel.
