Removal Procedure

1.  Remove the dash upper reinforcement. (See DASH UPPER REINFORCEMENT REMOVAL [PANEL REPLACEMENT].)

2.  Drill the spot welds in the 14 locations in area A shown in the figure.

3.  Drill the spot welds in the 11 locations in area B shown in the figure from the engine compartment.

Note

•  When drilling the spot welds in the 11 locations in area B shown in the figure, do not drill through-holes in consideration of the workability when installing.

4.  Remove the cowl upper plate.
