Purpose

•  The cruise control switch can switch the Mazda radar cruise control (MRCC) system and the cruising & traffic support (CTS) on/off and perform various settings.

Function

•  The cruise control switch sends the operation for each switch as an electric signal to the instrument cluster via the clock spring.

Construction

•  Installed to right-hand spoke of the steering wheel.

Operation

•  The Mazda radar cruise control (MRCC) system and the cruise & traffic support (CTS) can be switched on/off and various settings can be performed by operating each switch.

DISTANCE switch
Sets the distance between vehicles for headway control. (4 stages: Long, medium, short, extremely short)
CANCEL switch
Cancels the MRCC system.

SET+ switch
•  Sets the vehicle speed.
•  Increases set vehicle speed
―  Increases speed in approx. 1 km/h {0.6 mph} increments each time switch is short-pressed
―  Increases speed in approx. 10 km/h {6.2 mph} increments each time switch is long-pressed
SET- switch
•  Sets the vehicle speed.
•  Decreases set vehicle speed
―  Decreases speed in approx. 1 km/h {0.6 mph} increments each time switch is short-pressed
―  Decreases speed in approx. 10 km/h {6.2 mph} increments each time switch is long-pressed
RES switch
Resets the recorded set vehicle speed and begins control.

CTS switch
The CTS system turns off by operating the switch while the CTS system is operating.

The MRCC system turns off by operating the switch while the MRCC system is operating.
