Location of use: Front side radar sensor

Warning
•  If the front side radar sensor is installed at an incorrect angle, the front side radar sensor cannot detect obstructions correctly and the system may not operate normally. When installing the front side radar sensor, make sure that the installation part (front bumper) is not damaged or deformed, and then install it correctly.
•  If the area around the front side radar sensor is subjected to impact, the front side radar sensor angle could change and obstacles may not be detected normally, which could result in an accident. In this case, always verify the DTC, perform the front side radar sensor aiming, and verify that the installation angle is correct. (See FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING.) 1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION)

3.  Remove the nuts.

4.  Disconnect the connectors.

5.  Remove the front side radar sensor.

6.  Remove the bolts.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Front Side Radar Sensor Installation Note.)

8.  Perform the 360°view monitor system aiming. (with 360°view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING.)

9.  Perform the front radar sensor/front side radar sensor aiming. (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR/FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)


Front Side Radar Sensor Installation Note

1.  Install the front side radar sensor with the printed surface pointed towards the front bumper face.
