CONNECTOR INSPECTION

Caution

•  Disconnect the ground plate when servicing the following Mazda M Hybrid related parts. Otherwise, they could be damaged. (See GROUND PLATE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

―  Integrated starter generator (ISG)

―  Mazda M Hybrid battery

―  DC-DC converter (Mazda M Hybrid)

―  Seat warmer control unit (with seat warmer system, and without position memory system)

―  Position memory control module (with position memory system)

―  Front seat (driver's side) (with seat warmer system)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Disconnect the ground plate. (See GROUND PLATE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Disconnect the applicable connector.

Note

•  For the connector disconnection procedure, refer to the removal/installation procedure for each part.

4.  Inspect the applicable connector for the following: (See ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.)

•  Connector engagement and connection condition

•  Damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection of terminal

―  If there is any malfunction, repair or replace the malfunctioning location.
