CHARCOAL CANISTER INSPECTION [L8, LF]

1. Remove the charcoal canister. (See CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

2. Plug the atmosphere side and purge solenoid valve side of the charcoal canister.

3. Inspect for air leakage when blowing air by mouth from the fuel tank side.

• If air leaks, replace the charcoal canister. (See CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

4. Install the charcoal canister. (See CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)
