TRUNK LID OPENER RELAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

• Depending on the period of manufacture, the trunk lid opener relay and rear fog relay positions may be switched. When performing removal/installation and inspection, make determinations based on wiring color.

- Terminal A: red/black (except advanced keyless system), violet (advanced keyless system)

- Terminal C: blue/red

- Terminal D: blue

- Terminal E: blue/red

1. Remove the battery cover.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

3. Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4. Remove the trunk lid opener relay.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
